The CrossOver offers a range of antennas for specialised GPR projects including Archaeology, Geoscience, & utility projects.
ImpulseRadar are a relatively young company in the scheme of Ground Penetrating Radar. This has not stopped them from becoming a successful company in a competitive market. Their engineers have a wealth of experience in the GPR industry and have used this to produce the class range of dual frequency antennas. The expertise has shown with products like the PinPointR.
ImpulseRadar listened to these professional industries to bring a range of dual frequency antennas suited to different roles within the industry.
Specialised operators who use GPR for unique roles expect quality data. With ImpulseRadars expertise in dual frequency antennas, they have bought a range of antennas that perform extremely well. The CrossOver 1760 is a good example of the flexibility of these systems. The 600MHZ antenna has the ability to locate services down to 6 meters while still retaining clarity for smaller targets. This is due to the Real Time Sampling, and wide bandwidth available. Add the 1760 frequency into the mix and you have an antenna that can penetrate over 10 metres in ideal soil conditions giving you the ability to find deep layers or targets in this area. This unit is flexible enough to use as a traditional utility locator while still be able to penetrate far deeper than standard utility GPRs.
The Crossover 1760 is available as a traditional four Wheel cart, or can be used as a pull skid to drag over rougher terrain. It can even be used behind a ATV to cover large areas faster.
Small things like the integrated brake (Four Wheel Cart), stops the unit from rolling when unattended. Included onboard GPS can be used for location of data for reporting with the new VIEWPOINT software. A high capacity changeable Lithium Ion battery that can last up to seven hours. The ability to use a different array of tablets and mounting system to suit your requirements. Even the ability to use your android smartphone to acquire data is just another feature that can come in handy. All these features make the CrossOver range of Ground Penetrating Radar a standout in this market segment.
You can also attach a RTK GNSS/GPS antenna on a pole mount via a lead or bluetooth. The optional CrossPoint Software for PC allows you to do further editing of data. The Crossover can also be used with Geolitix or GPR Slice.
