TRAINING

When you purchase equipment from us we run a comprehensive training package from a certified trainer this is normally included in the price and is run at our training centre in Sydney or through our representatives in Western Australia and Queensland. The more sophisticated the instrument the more thorough the training.

When you purchase a pipe & cable locator from us we provide a comprehensive training program this covers both theory and practical use of the machine and is around one half a day. Onsite training is also available at an additional cost.

When purchasing a water leak detector training is held at our dedicated facility in Sydney’s Northern beaches and we have a dedicated room were we can simulate and teach the operator the process of leak detection. This service is invaluable to our customers and this is why our customers are more successful in building a leak detection business.

We are now happy to promote a new one-day training course which is now endorsed by NULCA. This course is essential for new operators or operators who have never formerly been trained. It is a great way to get the most from your locator and the courses can be run individually with a minimum of six students or as a company based training course. A workbook is provided and students have to complete a multiple choice exam and practical session. NULCA provide a certificate of attendance at the conclusion and operators have the option to log training hours through the NULCA log book.

Training can be done for the most common machines including Rycom, Radiodetection, Sewerin and Subsite along with other brands. All the trainers are individually selected for their experience in the use of a professional locator. Trainers are Cert IV level and have at least 10 years of industry experience, so at the end of the session you will learn proper locating techniques and have a better understanding of your machine.

If you are looking for formal industry certified qualifications to RIICCM202D, (Identify, Locate and Protect underground services) for locating and wish to further your development with professional utility location then the NULCA two day course is for you. This course is run on a regular basis in all states and we highly recommend this course to people wanting to learn more.

The facilitators/trainers all have at least 10 years experience and will teach you both the integrate theory and practical methods to make you a better locator. This course is for more advanced operators or operators who know the basics of there professional locator and delves heavily into theory and troubleshooting so we would not recommend this course for beginners.

The Course introduces the AS5488 industry standard, is endorsed by DBYD QLD, Telstra and is the ideal course to help you become Telstra certified.
